English inter-house elocution competition for the juniors VI, VII, VIII was held on 7th July, 2017 and for the seniors IX – X was held on 14th July, 2017.

The Juniors were trained by their respective house captains, house teachers and English teachers. The Senior Students were trained by their respective house captains and house teachers. The competition helped the students to speak clearly and loudly with confidence and with expression. It helped them to develop a good command over the English language, improve their memory and increase their vocabulary.
It gave the children the opportunity to combat their biggest fear – stage fear.

Results for the Juniors: The best speaker of each house was Raashi Shah (Equus House), Hussain Dhuliawala (Eagles House), Tasneem Rampurawala (Dolphins House), and Arushi Bhimgarde (Pumas House). Overall best speaker was Arushi Bhimgarde. Best House was Pumas.

Results for the Seniors: The best speaker of each house was Riva Jain (Equus House), Chahit Shah (Eagles House), Dhwanil Mehta (Dolphins House), and Priyansh Pai (Pumas House). Overall best speaker was Riva Jain. Best House was Dolphins. Congratulations!

Children’s day is organised by teachers for all students.

Teachers' Day was celebrated at NLFP on 6th Sept ‘17. Students organized a grand party for all the teachers. They made the teachers play some fun games, showed their dance talent, and also gave chocolates, flowers, cards as a token of appreciation.

Art and Craft Exhibition is held at NLFP- Students are guided by their Art Professor, Vishal Mane, and together they put up a brilliant show & the winners are given certificates.

Students, parents and teachers of NLFP converged at Swatntryaveer Savarkar auditorium, Shivaji Park, to celebrate the Annual Day through dances and skits. Toppers of the SSC & NIOS batch 2016-17 were felicitated. The theme of the event was ‘NLFP News Room’ where various challenges faced by the nation were discussed through dance performances and plays. The Chief Guest for the evening was Dr Madhuri Kulkarni, Senior consultant paediatrician from Mumbai Port Trust Hospital. Choreographer Ms. Shruti Jasani was the guest of honour and Judge.

A seminar on 21st Century Careers was held on 7th April, 2015 at CCI Club- C.K. Naydu Hall, for students, parents, teachers and councellors of all the schools in Mumbai. The seminar was organised in collaboration with Energia Wellbeing Pvt. Ltd. Aim was to help students and parents make informed decisions in choosing the discipline for further studies after 10th & 12th examinations. Eminent speakers like Mr. Sarosh Daruwalla of Switzer Hospitality Education, Mr. Viral of Raffles Education Corp Ltd., Mr. Anant and Mr. Peeyush Prasad of ADYPU School of Film & Media and D Y Patil and Dilip Chhabria Centre for Automotive Research and Studies, Pune (DYPDC), Mr.Pratik Gour and Mr. Vivek of S P Jain Institute of Management Studies, Mr Rakesh Nair of BSE Institute Ltd., Ms. Seema Joshi made presentations on off- beat careers.
Guest of Honour and Keynote Speaker was Dr Aditi Govitrikar.
Chief Guest Mr Hari Sankaran, Managing Director & Vice-Chairman, IL&FS released the ‘Career Book’ written and edited by Ms. Bhoomi Kothi.
