Teachers' Day was celebrated at NLFP on 5th Sept ‘18. Students organized a grand party for all the teachers. They made the teachers play some fun games, showed their dance talent, and also gave chocolates, flowers, cards as a token of appreciation.

English inter-house elocution competition for the juniors VI, VII, VIII std was held on 6th July ‘18 and for the seniors IX – X std was held on 13th July ‘18.
Hindi inter-house elocution competition for the juniors VI, VII, VIII std was held on 24th Aug ‘18 and for the seniors IX – X std was held on 31st Aug ‘18
It gave children the opportunity to combat their biggest fear – stage fear.

Children’s day was organised by teachers for all students on 14th Nov ’18. Students were shown a movie ‘Soorma’ a biopic on the life of Indian hockey player Sandeep Singh. An inspirational story which teaches not to give up and work hard for success. BMS awards for 1st term were also given to students.

NLFP celebrated its Annual Day on Friday, 3rd August 2018, at Swatantryaveer Sawarkar Rashtriya Smarak auditorium, Shivaji Park. Chief Guest Mrs Manjushree Patil of Aatman Academy and other dignitaries of IL&FS graced the occasion. The programme commenced with lighting of the lamp followed by Nalanda song. Ms. Aarti Gandhi, Director of NLFP extended a warm welcome to all and felicitated the guests with a token of appreciation. Top ranking students of Std VI to Std IX, Std X NIOS and SSC board were awarded prizes. The concert was exquisitely hosted by students- Miss. Khushi Gupta & Mast. Krenz Vora. The first segment of the event was an inspirational English play, ‘A Chef’s Journey’ based on the life story of celebrity Chef Vikas Khanna. The second half of the programme was based on the theme Navras (nine emotions). Students of NLFP performed dances on various emotions such as- Shringar (love), Bhaya (fear), Adbhuta (wonder), Veer (bravery), Karuna (compassion), Raudra (anger) & Bibhasta (disgust). The ninth ras- Hasya (laughter) was depicted thru’ a hilarious Hindi play-‘Jeene Nahi Doonga’. Shringar dance won the prize for best dance performance. Best actor award in English play was earned by Miss. Khushi Gupta of X C and for Hindi play Pratham Soni of Std X was announced the best actor respectively. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks and National Anthem.

A seminar on 21st Century Careers was held on 7th April, 2015 at CCI Club- C.K. Naydu Hall, for students, parents, teachers and councellors of all the schools in Mumbai. The seminar was organised in collaboration with Energia Wellbeing Pvt. Ltd. Aim was to help students and parents make informed decisions in choosing the discipline for further studies after 10th & 12th examinations. Eminent speakers like Mr. Sarosh Daruwalla of Switzer Hospitality Education, Mr. Viral of Raffles Education Corp Ltd., Mr. Anant and Mr. Peeyush Prasad of ADYPU School of Film & Media and D Y Patil and Dilip Chhabria Centre for Automotive Research and Studies, Pune (DYPDC), Mr.Pratik Gour and Mr. Vivek of S P Jain Institute of Management Studies, Mr Rakesh Nair of BSE Institute Ltd., Ms. Seema Joshi made presentations on off- beat careers.
Guest of Honour and Keynote Speaker was Dr Aditi Govitrikar.
Chief Guest Mr Hari Sankaran, Managing Director & Vice-Chairman, IL&FS released the ‘Career Book’ written and edited by Ms. Bhoomi Kothi.
